Shadi has looked at the foundation fundraising process from every angle and knows what works and what doesn’t.

From every webinar you will take away information and a toolbox you can use immediately to help increase the funding critical to your organization and its programs.  The following describes each webinar in the series:

Webinar Series and Highlights:

1.      An Introduction to Foundation Fundraising
Recording of May 15, 2012 Live Event!

An overview of the whole foundation fundraising process. This webinar gives you a map of the whole process and key strategies for each step. We examine the process from the perspective of the current challenges and opportunities in the foundation environment including where foundations fit into your contributed income mix; how to make foundation fundraising work for you wherever you are in the funding cycle or whatever size organization you are; what foundations look for; and what the elements of winning grant proposals are and why.

Includes a foundation fundraising check list that identifies the key steps for implementing a successful foundation fundraising process for your organization.

2.      Developing a Compelling Case for Support
Recording of May 29, 2012 Live Event!

Detailed presentation of the case for support and all the tools needed to create a compelling case. The case for support is the most important fundraising tool for a non-profit organization. It is the basis for all fundraising strategies and efforts (individual, foundation, government and corporate). This webinar will show you how to develop a case from scratch; how to use it to identify prospective donors and create compelling fundraising documents and appeals; and how to refine it to better respond to the current (and very competitive) philanthropic environment.

Includes a Case for Support Evaluator that covers 20 essential elements and allows the user to evaluate and improve their case for support and all their fundraising activities.

3.      Increasing Foundation Grants by Demonstrating the Value of Your Programs
Recording of the June 19, 2012 Live Event!

A thorough presentation of how to unlock the value of your organization and its programs and demonstrate your value to foundations. Foundations evaluate non-profit organizations on their performance and their programs’ effectiveness (regardless of the size of the organization). It is imperative that grant seekers frame their programs in a manner that highlights their social impact, measurable outcomes, and how they leverage  grant funds to make change. This webinar will help participants unlock the value in what they are doing and set themselves apart from other similar organizations, thereby increasing their chance of receiving foundation grants. We’ll also show you how to position your organization with funders; turn stake holders into advocates; and create bridges to foundations through your own contact network.

Toolbox: Includes a process map for discovering your organization’s value.

4.      Get Grants by Making the Right Moves with Foundations
Recording of July 10, 2012 Live Event!

How to conduct quality prospective funder research, and manage the process efficiently and effectively to successfully raise money from foundations. This webinar will present every step in the research and management of prospective funders. You’ll learn how to use prospect research tools; quickly and effectively find foundation matches and create a high quality list of prospects; manage the prospective funder process; connect to and cultivate foundation directors; and, most importantly, how to turn declined proposals into “yes!” and increase your funding.

Includes a prospect assessment tool and a step-by-step prospect management process.
