FOUNDATION for St. Stephen's Episcopal School
Fri, May 12, 2017, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM EDT
On Friday, May 12, 2017 St. Stephen’s Episcopal School will host our second annual FOUNDATION, an exceptional evening bringing together signature small tastes from area restaurants, hand-selected world-class wines from around the globe, artisanal sodas, craft coffee and teas along with silent and live auction.
FOUNDATION supports St. Stephen's Episcopal school and helps us to provide our students a strong foundation for growth. Proceeds from the event support academics, music and art, character development, technology, languages, physical and environmental education and scholarships. We believe in educating the "whole student" and hope you will support our mission.
Founded in 1978, St. Stephen's Episcopal School has become a competitive K-8 education option in the Capitol Region. The school was born out of a consortium of city church leadership in the 1970's looking to serve the needs of Harrisburg's citizens. St. Stephen's was designed to serve students from across the capitol region from diverse backgrounds, socio-economic status, cultures and religions. As we approach our 40 year anniversary we have stayed true to this mission and are proud of our history and success.
The mission of St. Stephen’s Episcopal School is to provide a superior education in an Episcopal setting to students of all faiths and ethnic heritages, cultivating confident individuals who contribute positively to their families, school, and larger community.
- We nurture our students in an atmosphere of respect that they may thrive academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually, and achieve their full potential.
- We encourage our students to practice respect, responsibility, kindness, curiosity, and open-mindedness.
- We foster student growth by engaging a highly dedicated staff, and by encouraging a supportive community which includes families, alumni, Board of Directors, and Cathedral members.
- We strive to make St. Stephen’s Episcopal School available to all.
