About this event
Found Wandering is a trio consisting of Sarah Comstock (Vocals, Mandolin), Colin Comstock (Guitar, Banjo) and Jake L'Armand (Violin, Guitar).
Every year at Christmas they gather together with musician-friends from up and down the East Coast to play Christmas songs. To date they have released two full-length Christmas albums (2015’s “On A Christmas Night” and 2011’s “Christmas In Country Village”) as well as an EP (2016’s “Pass The Peace”) and a live album (2019’s “Silent Night”) - all of which are available on FoundWandering.com as well as Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube.
This year they will be joined by a 9-piece band featuring horns, strings and keys and will be playing a mix of re-arranged traditional Christmas hymns such as Angels We Have Heard On High, I Saw Three Ships, Lo How A Rose E’re Blooming and Go Tell It On The Mountain in a variety of styles including folk/americana, soul and blues. They will also be performing new takes on contemporary Christmas songs originally written by James Brown, Harry Connick Jr and Jackson Browne.
They have long considered Westminster a second church home and are looking forward to coming back and spreading some Christmas cheer through music. They will be joined by the Westminster Worship Collective.
There will be a freewill offering at the event.
