Fo-Star Program
Program Introduction

We invest heavily in supporting and training our “Fo-Stars”. The new hires will benefit from the training and development modules in the first year, ranging from military training camp, cross-functional job rotation, financial training, executive mentorship, to more advanced programs about leadership skills as they progress further. Since 2013, the program has been held for 5 successive years, with over 100 “Fo-Stars” trained.

Key Responsibilities

1) Monitor industry trends on a global scale; collect economic and market data as well as relevant third-party report; establish investment framework.

2) Investigate private and public companies; support the team in completing and submitting the investment proposals.

3) Ensure quality and content of materials (financial models, valuation analysis, due diligence, investment memorandums etc.).

4) Assist leaders in negotiations and transaction documentation process.

5) Develop and present internal memoranda and investment presentations.


1) 2017/2018 bachelor or master degree graduates. Major in Science, Engineering, Management or Finance etc.

2) Well-organized self-starter who can manage a range of tasks and prioritize.

3) Strong judgment and critical thinking; ability to articulate and present ideas effectively both verbally and in written form.

4) Excellent leadership, team-work spirit, and interpersonal skills.

5) The ability to engage and exert influence on internal and external stakeholders.

6) Proficiency in both Mandarin Chinese and English; fluency in other languages (e.g. Hebrew, Portuguese, and Japanese) would be a plus.

Fo-Star Plus Program
Program Introduction

Fo-Star Plus is Fosun's premier development program for high potential individuals seeking a career in the investment industry. Successful candidates will be hired into one of Fosun’s core sectors, including healthcare, technology, tourism, and insurance, and receive executive mentorship and cross-functional job rotation. Upon successful completion of the one-year program, Fo-Star Plus graduates will be managing direct investments and cross-border M&As.

Key Responsibilities

1) Originate and execute investments, work closely with project teams and manage overall investment process including research analysis, valuation, presentations, and due diligence.

2) Lead new business development and marketing efforts, including maintaining deal pipeline through internal and external channels.

3) Manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

4) Participate in portfolio management.


1) 2018 MBA graduates or graduates with 1-3 years’ relevant experiences in investment or other financial markets; Experience in the healthcare, technology or consumer sector is preferred.

2) A strong entrepreneurial mindset with a “can-do” attitude.

3) Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to be market facing and diplomatic to manage both internal and external stakeholders.

4) Proficiency in both Mandarin Chinese and English; fluency in other languages (e.g. Hebrew, Portuguese, Japanese) would be a plus.
