Fostering Inclusivity: Hispanic Culture & its Influence on Our Careers
Date and time
Description
The WorkMarket Diversity & Inclusion Committee presents a panel of dynamic speakers to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. We will touch on multiple subjects and how our upbringing is a key factor in setting a foundation that has also helped pave the way for a continuous and successful career.
The panelists will be:
Carolina Huaranca, Principal, Kapor Capital
Carolina is a Principal at Kapor Capital, investing in social impact tech startups that seek to narrow gaps in opportunity and access for underrepresented communities and eliminate barriers to their full participation across the tech ecosystem. A former M&A banker, Carolina left Wall Street to pursue opportunities at startups. Along the way, she built a commerce company that helped stay at home moms generate additional income while exposing their children to STEM education. Her proudest achievement is helping to build one of the top performing charter school networks in the country, now serving over 10,000 kids.
Carolina has held operating roles in Sales, Partnerships/Business Development, and Sales Operations at multiple tech companies.
