Fostering Healthy Communities: Austin's Built Environment and Its Impact on Public Health

Join us for an engaging discussion on how to facilitate physical activity and better health for Austin's families through improvements to our built environment, especially in low-income neighborhoods. Learn about some of the latest research on the intersection between public health and the design of our built environment, hear about local projects that are underway in this area, and explore with us how the just-launched process to rewrite Austin's land development code could accelerateor impedethese projects and empoweror prohibithealthier communities.

 

Registration: Attendance is free but seating is limited and an RSVP is required.
