Fostering Employee Motivation
In this class, you will learn the three causes of job misery as explained by author and keynote speaker Patrick Lencioni: Irrelevance, Immeasurement and Anonymity. According to the Gallop Polling Organization, only about 30% of employees are truly engaged in their work. Highly engaged employees are much more productive, happier and healthier than employees who just “put in their time.” We will also discuss some tips on “managing up” to make the most of your job and situation. While it is not required that you be a manager to take this class, the most benefit will be for those that are managers or supervisors. Participants are provided a simple process to help them boost the morale and productivity of employees who work for them. Time will be allotted to do individual planning for improved working relationships back at the office.
