Landcare ACT invites anyone interested in the land use surrounding our towns and cities including farmers, land managers, Landcarers, natural resource managers and planners to attend.

This forum is to share and contribute ideas about land use, production for a sustainable future, and implications for planning decisions in the ACT Region. A short summary report will be provided to all participants and relevant government agencies of the ACT and NSW South East region by the end of 2017.

8:45am to 1:00pm, Saturday 26th August 2017

Renewables Innovation Hub, 19-23 Moore St, Turner (on street parking, bike rack, bus nearby)

Registration by 24 August through Eventbrite is essential.

LandcareACT

LandcareACT (LACT) is a newly formed peak body for landcare in the ACT region to help support and promote the over 60 community groups who help look after urban parklands, countryside, nature reserves and waterways.

The foundation members of LACT are the ACT region’s three catchment groups, Ginninderra, Molonglo and Southern ACT, the Rural Landholders Association and the Buru-Ngunawal Aboriginal Corporation.
