Fort Meade ACS Military Spouse Workforce Preparation Series
The Fort George G. Meade Army Community Service Employment Readiness Program presents the Military Spouse Workforce Preparation Series, held May 2017 on the following dates:
Military Spouse Resiliency and Financial Planning
- 2 May 0900 - 1500
Military Spouse Education Assistance
- 9 May 0900 - 1500
Military Spouse Employment
- 16 May 0800 - 1600
Military Spouse Recruitment Leveraging Military Spouse Talent
- 23 May 1000 - 1400
PLEASE NOTE: In order to attend all 4 days of the Series, a registration form MUST be submitted for each event. Participants can register for ALL, MULTIPLE, or INDIVIDUAL days of the Series.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
You must possess a Department of Defense (DOD) identification card (e.g. active duty ID card, military retirement ID card, family member ID card, or civilian CAC (Common Access Card) card, to access the base.For additional information regading base access, please visit the Fort Meade Access Control Policy page.
Who can attend the Series?
Open to spouses of all Service Members, Retirees, and DoD Civilians. Spouses of all branches of service are welcome. Series is offered free of charge!
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
All sessions will be held at Potomac Place Community Center 4998 2nd Corps Blvd., Fort Meade, MD 20755. Parking will be available in the ajacent parking lot. For directions to Fort Meade, please visit the following link: http://www.ftmeade.army.mil/directions.html.
What can I bring into the event?
Please bring paper and pen for notes. On 16 and 23 May, bring your resume for review and networking.
