The Fort Canning Run takes runners around the iconic Fort Canning Park. Hidden in the park is a runner’s playground. Hills, undulating terrain, steps, steps and more steps!

Join the run to explore an area steeped in heritage and discover a new running route right in the heart of the city.

How long and where is the run route*?

Runners will cover 7.6km over the following run route.

During the event, runners will start and finish at the Fort Gate. Runners will first have to complete half a lap of Fort Canning. They then use the over-head bridge across River Valley Road and run along the Singapore River covering Clark Quay and Robertson Quay.

Once at Jiak Kim Bridge, runners will make a U-Turn and head back the same way along the river. They will then complete the next half lap of Fort Canning and finish at Fort Gate.

The route will include the traversing of multiple steps as we navigate up and down the Fort Canning Hill. Run marshals will also be stationed along the run route to guide the runners.

*In the event of wet-weather or unforeseen circumstances, the run route might be revised for the safety of all runners at the organiser’s discretion.
