Event description

Description

February 23, 1969. SSgt Robert Hartsock becomes the first (and remains the only) military working dog handler to receive the Medal of Honor. His actions at Dau Tieng, (South) Vietnam saved his platoon commander, his unit, his base, every dog on the base, and altered the course of the Vietnam War.

Yet no one knows about it.

50 years later, producer/director Jim Huggins and New Shepherd Films in association with C3 Entertainment are telling the story.

This special presentation of FORGOTTEN HEROES - The Robert Hartsock Story--an award-winning film completed here in Oregon--is one you will not want to miss!

SPECIAL: The film's director, Jim Huggins, will be on hand for the showing to discuss the project, the research, and answer questions!
