Bring your 5th grade class to Forest Conservation Days.
1. Select a day between September 25 and 29.
2. Select the number of classes that you will bring. You can bring up to 6 classes from your school.
3. Click the "register" button.
4. Enter contact, alternative dates and the estimated number of students that you will bring and other requested information.
The maximum number of students that can be accomodated each day is 300. We assume 30 students per class which means that 10 classes can attend on a given day.
Forest Conservation Days was founded in 1992 and provided near Saratoga in Santa Clara County until 2014 when it was relocated to Camp Lake Sequoia Fresno County.
Forest Conservation Days is a forest stewardship educational event that is supported with a grant from the United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service, State & Private Forestry.

Northern California Society of American Foresters
The Society of American Foresters (SAF) is the national scientific and educational organization representing the forestry profession in the United States. Founded in 1900 by Gifford Pinchot, it is the largest professional society for foresters in the world. The mission of the Society of American Foresters is to advance the science, education, technology, and practice of forestry; to enhance the competency of its members; to establish professional excellence; and, to use the knowledge, skills, and conservation ethic of the profession to ensure the continued health and use of forest ecosystems and the present and future availability of forest resources to benefit society. SAF is a nonprofit organization meeting the requirements of 501 (c) (3). SAF members include natural resource professionals in public and private settings, researchers, CEOs, administrators, educators, and students.
