Join us for a community hike & cleanup at Elysian Park! Free stickers for volunteers & good vibes all day.

Help us care for our local lands while connecting with community! 🌲✨

Join We Explore Earth & A Tribe Called Earth for a Guided Group Hike Cleanup as part of our Forest Bridges Day Camp celebration at Elysian Park. Together, we’ll hike, restore, and celebrate our connection to nature through stewardship and community action.

All volunteers receive free sticker packs and can enjoy the rest of the day’s programming including workshops, yoga, live music, and a movie night under the stars.

Elysian Park – near Grace E. Simmons Lodge

Address: 1025 Elysian Park Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90012

Coordinates: 34°05’02.2”N 118°14’47.1”W


🕐 Schedule:

  • 12:30 PM – Guided Group Hike Cleanup (optional warm-up activity)
  • 1:00 PM – 5K Run hosted by Chingona on the Run & Labrynth Run Club
  • 1:00–4:00 PM – Workshops, games & community stations
  • 5:30PM – Outdoor Movie Night (The Nightmare Before Christmas)

🧘‍♀️ What to bring:

  • Reusable water bottle
  • Running shoes & comfortable clothes
  • Picnic blanket & gear for post-run festivities
  • Optional: Costume for Halloween fun 👻🎃

🍕 What’s provided:

Pizza, snacks, drinks & popcorn for movie night!

PARKING INFO:

Just in case here's some more detailed directions:

  • The corner of Elysian Park and Stadium Way
  • Then you follow the path/driveaway
  • Eventually you'll come across a parking lot. Pull into the first parking lot on the left
  • The parking lot is across from this gated lodge (which is the address above)
  • When you pull into the parking lot and park, walk past the lil roundabout straight into the park.
    There's some bushes and stuff on the right. Walk pass the bushes on the right, and you'll see us under a canopy of trees =)

p.s. If parking is full, you can park on the street along the park
