Event description



This cardiovascular conference will provide expert clinicians to educate area nurses on common cardiovascular diseases and best practices for cardiovascular care. Besides sharing cardiovascular knowledge, experts will also provide patient-care models to influence participants in caring for their cardiovascular patients.

Educational Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

1. Verbalize greater knowledge of common cardiovascular diseases and leading-edge treatments.
2. Demonstrate increased knowledge of nursing assessment skills to provide appropriate cardiovascular care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
3. Discuss the emerging role of palliative care in end-stage heart disease.
4. Identify the importance of cardiovascular research and the role it plays in caring for patients.

Nurse Practioners, Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses working with adult cardiovascular patients in both in- and out-patient settings..

Individuals representing other professional disciplines may submit summit the Certificate of Attendance distributed at the conference to their respective professional associations for continuing education credit.

No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after Friday April 5, 2019.
