Event description

Description

An event for musicians, worship leaders & planners, preachers, artists, justice seekers…and anyone else! Join us this October 21 at First Toronto CRC as we are re-storied together, inspired for service, and knit together in community.

Here are just some of the people leading workshops or presenting:

  • Joyce Borger of Christian Reformed Worship Ministries
  • Harold Roscher of Edmonton Native Healing Centre
  • students of Toronto District Christian Highschool
  • Nicki Andre of A Cappella Jams
  • a group of worship leaders from Christian Reformed churches across southwestern Ontario
  • Hector Acero-Ferrer of the Institute for Christian Studies
  • Rebecca Warren, Interim Director of Interdisciplinary Studies at The King's University

An important note as you register:

There are 8 different workshop streams for the day. Each participant should select one stream when registering to participate in all day. That way you can build on your learning throughout the day and walk away from the day with both stronger relationships with your co-participants and practical tools to use in your churches. Here are the available streams:

  • Justice and Creative Writing
  • Justice and Congregational Song
  • Justice and the Visual Arts
  • Theatre and Movement in Worship
  • Justice, Prayer, and Soul Care
