Event description

Description

Have you ever wondered how to identify and transform wild botanicals into herbal balms? Bay View's own horticulturist, herbalist & upland trail flora & fauna walk leader Robin Haglund's limited-enrollment class for beginners is the perfect place to start learning! We'll begin by exploring the upland trail, learning about & foraging for plant materials. Then, our small group will return to the classroom to transform our flora into luscious healing salves and refreshing hydrosols. You'll learn about wonderful qualities of many plants, and in addition to taking home samples of what you create in class, you'll also take home the skills to DIY your own herbal goods for a lifetime. There is a $10 materials fee for this class - Payable to the presenter on the day of the class.
