Why Support Abilities Tennis?

The Abilities Tennis Association of North Carolina (ATANC) provides tennis opportunities across the state of North Carolina for athletes with intellectual disabilities.  Funds raised at this event will support free tennis clinics, free tennis tournaments, and the enhancement of tennis opportunities through exhibition matches, play days and other special events.

ATANC hosts a National Level tournament Winston Salem Abilities Open and the State Level Winter Chill Tournament hosted by the NC State Women's Tennis Team.  Abilities Tennis now has five tournaments available for Abilities athletes throughout the year.

Watch a video highlighting the tournaments and what playing tennis means to our athletes... ATANC hosts tennis clinics at 15 locations across the state.  We will be adding six new sites this fall.  Abilities Tennis programs continue to grow and expand due to the generosity of people like you who believe that tennis can make a difference in the lives of those with intellectual disabilities.

Please viisit the website at www.atanc.org to learn more.
