THE AJILE L TURNER FOUNDATION was founded in 2010. The founder Mattie Turner established the foundation in memory of her late son Ajile (ah - jah - lay) Turner, to continue his mission of mentoring and positively impacting the community. This non-profit organization has a focus and mission to develop today’s youth into the leaders of tomorrow, by engaging and enhancing their skills in the areas of education, entrepreneurship and entertainment creative arts. The Ajile L. Turner Foundation has garnered tremendous momentum through “Designed to Succeed” and “Footprints of a Dream Entertainment Creative Arts” mentorship programs with support of community educators and fortune 500 corporate partners.
Friday, September 11, 2015, the ALT Foundation will host its annual Footprints of a Dream Benefit at The Joule in downtown Dallas, Texas. Proceeds from this event will benefit the students participating in the programs of the ALT Foundation. The ALT Foundation will recognize community game changers in education, entrepreneurship and entertainment creative arts. Event guests will have the unique opportunity to see the first-hand impact our program has had on the students in the community. In addition, guests will enjoy a three-course meal, student presentations, game changer awards, and up-close performances featuring Academy Award winning artist COMMON, Grammy Award winning artist ROBERT GLASPER and Dallas’ own RC AND THE GRITZ BAND. Exclusive VIP guests, in addition, will be further welcomed to partake in a special after benefit party that includes sounds by DJ Dummy the Genius, complimentary sweet and savory bites, sips, photo opportunities and more!
ALL PROCEEDS RAISED BY THE COCKTAIL DINNER FUNDRAISER supports the works of the Ajile L Turner Foundation and youth development. The foundation was founded to support youth from all walks of life and assist them with securing a prosperous future through partnerships, our “Designed to Succeed” program and generous donors.

Benefit – Approx. 300 guests, Cocktail Attire (Required), Red Carpet
VIP Afterparty – Approx. 150 complimentary sweet/savory bites and sips
TICKETS:
Benefit and/or VIP Afterparty- $200/$250 each, and sponsored tables $3,500 to $4,500
PURPOSE:
Your support of ALT will allow us to continue to offer our programs and curriculum for underserved children in the community. Our students are working on a short film project and ALT will kick off our 2015 programs Designed to Succeed” and “Footprints of a Dream Creative Arts, curriculums and mentorship programs.
