Football in the Community Online Conference

On 10th August 2022, fcbusiness & Geoff Wilson Consultancy will be hosting our second Football in the Community Online Conference following the success of last year's event.

About this event

Football has always played a vital role in the local community in which they exist and the Foundation arms of those clubs have further stretched that reach and good work.

fcbusiness and Geoff Wilson Consultancy have worked together over the course of the last 2 years to help share some of the magnificent work they have been doing in the community.

From 10.30am to 12:30pm on 10th August 2022, we will bring case studies, interviews and discussion from some of the leading club community foundations in the UK who will showcase the work they do followed by a panel discussion on what the future holds for the sector.

The conference will consist of 3 case studies from club community foundations then the panel will discuss some of the pertinent issues in the sector.

Our first event was attended by over 100 people and feature case studies and discussion from City in the Community, Manchester United Foundation, Burnley in the Community, Foundation of Light, the EFL Trust and Foundation 92.
