GROW2010 Day Three Food Challenge (tickets)

We'd like to invite an intimate group of food and technology lovers to join us on a culinary expedition through Vancouver.

UBC Farm Visit

Starting around 11am, the group will tour the UBC Farm, a 24-hectare teaching, research and community farm located on UBC’s Vancouver campus. Forming a rich mosaic of cultivated fields, teaching gardens, forest stands, hedgerows, and orchard plantings, the Farm is a unique urban agrarian gem.

A gourmet lunch will be prepared by InevitableTable, a local private chef service co-founded by Sam Kass, currently working for the Obama family at the White House.

School of Fish Dinner

At around 7pm, we will gather at C Restaurant for a welcome cocktail, before boarding the outdoor floating dining room recently built for The School of Fish Foundation to raise money for sustainable seafood initiatives in culinary schools around the world.  Click here for more info.  Once aboard, a seven-course meal will be paired with wines from Farmstead Wines.

The total cost for both events is $250 per person (get tickets here) and includes a donation to each institution plus a bottle of wine from Farmstead Wines.  You may purchase each event separately.

Tickets are limited to twelve people at each event, so get yours today!
