Please join Yale alumni and other volunteers at Saint Francis Xavier Church's Soup Kitchen on Sunday, October 30th. Volunteers will help serve food to approximately 700 New Yorkers who come to St. Xavier’s as it is one of the only NYC soup kitchens open on Sundays.Volunteers will also assist with the clean up. Foodtober is a month of activities and events celebrating and examining our connection to food. Foodtober is organized by the Yale Alumni Association of New York, connecting Yalies with each other and our communities. Foodtober events benefit The Yale Sustainable Food Project and City Growers.

Photos might be taken at YAANY events for use on YAANY's website, newsletter, and social media. YAANY event tickets are nonrefundable. If you are unable to use the tickets you have purchased, please let us know so that we can make your space available to our waitlist or scholarship attendees. Proceeds from unused tickets may be donated to the event beneficiaries or used to fund event expenses.
