Event description

Description

Food Waste is an important topic for all of us who are fighting hunger and trying to increase healthy food access in Philadelphia and region. ReFED, a recently issued report on the economic impact of wasted food, spells out the issues but now we need a local action plan. For more information on ReFED - https://www.refed.com

Philanthropy Network Greater Philadelphia Food Funders Affinity Group in partnership with Drexel and Philabundance will host our first panel to discuss and exchange best practices and innovations regarding food waste with various stakeholders. The panel will be based on solutions that utilize ReFED's reports and will offer a forum for connecting with professionals who are funding and developing projects to address food waste.

Join us on December 8th, 2016 from 3pm to 5pm at Drexel Center for Hospitality and Sport Management at Arch & 33rd Streets.
