Event description

Description

The Maine Food Strategy Economic Development Council is partnering with the Data Innovation Project to hold a work session and needs assessment on food system market data.

The goal of this event is to increase business awareness of existing tools and services that focus on market data and provide information and assistance to Maine producers in making this data relevant to businesses, as well as needs assessment to better understand where there are gaps and opportunities to better serve businesses with data.

This event is for entities interested in Maine food system market data: Value-added food businesses, farms, wholesalers and distributors, grocers and retailers, restaurant, service providers, industry groups, and other economic development groups interested in this topic. This is a great opprtunity to learn new tools, and provide insight that will motivate action and direction for the economic landscape in Maine’s food system.
