Canning can be a fun and economical way to make fresh foods available year-round. Learn the basics of preserving fruits and fruit mixtures in this fun class. We will use a water-bath canner safely and discuss the procedures that are scientifically tested to ensure high-quality and safe canned products.
This is the 5th class in our August home food preservation series. All classes will include lecture, demonstration and "hands-on" time in the kitchen. Each participant will receive recipes and step-by-step instruction.
