Formal Announcement of the Food Partnership’s AGM 2016
The Brighton & Hove Food Partnership will be holding its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 7th December at Old Tree Brewhouse (http://oldtree.house/), Field House, Lewes Road, Brighton BN2 4GL. See location on a map here
The AGM will take place from 6.00pm to 6.30 pm and will be followed by a drinks reception.
5.45 pm: Sign in and refreshments
6.00 - 6.30 pm: AGM
Chair’s report on the work of the year, presentation of the accounts and thank you to Board members who are retiring. Annual Accounts and minutes will be available on the night or can be sent in advance if requested.
There will be a chance to ask questions at the event and to meet the staff, Board and volunteers.
Any member can propose that an issue be discussed and this will be included on the agenda for the meeting so long as the request is received in writing seven days before the meeting and supported by at least 5 members
6.30 – 6.40 pm: Short presentation on the work of Old Tree Brewery and their work making drinks from foraged ingredients (tbc)

Board members Please note that whilst we will be accepting the resignation of Board members who wish to step down we are not recruiting any new Board members at this year’s AGM. This is because we are currently undertaking a review of our governance arrangements. This will be completed by April 2017 at which time we will recruit new members in line with any recommendations from this piece of work. The Food Partnership’s Memorandum & Articles of Association state that we should have between 3 and 9 elected members which will continue to be the case.
