Event description

Description

inspired by Bon Appetit magazine's spotlight on Food in America, we are celebrating the diverse culinary traditions found in the kitchens and homes across the country.

in partnership with Sally’s Middle Name, we invite you to the third event in our series, Đôi Đũa, a pop-up market experience serving classic Vietnamese-style food with a modern twist.

the most important aspect of Vietnamese food is the concept of “balance” - the balance of sour, bitter, sweet, spicy & salty. Vietnamese food lends itself to the distinct, yet harmonious combination of these 5 flavor profiles.

join us for an interactive tasting prepared by Anna & Sarah, co-owners of Đôi Đũa, a Vietnamese pop-up restaurant in DC. A conversation and Q+A will follow, moderated by Aphra, co-owner of Sally’s Middle Name.
