Speaker Bios:

Dr. Anita Friedman

Executive Director, Jewish Family and Children’s Services

Dr. Anita Friedman is the Executive Director of Jewish Family and Children’s Services (JFCS), one of the largest and oldest family service institutions in America. Under her direction, JFCS serves 120,000 children, families, and elderly annually. As a speaker, lecturer, and author, Dr. Friedman serves in many leadership roles nationally and internationally. She is President of the Koret Foundation, one of California’s largest philanthropies, and is the editor of several books including Rywka’s Diary, published in 15 languages for global Holocaust education.

Christopher J. Clarkson, CFA

Director—Wealth Strategies Group at Bernstein

Christopher J. Clarkson is a Senior Vice President and a Director of the Wealth Strategies Group, a role he was appointed to in 2005. He has expertise in a variety of complex investment planning issues, including diversification planning for holders of concentrated stock and option portfolios, retirement planning, multigenerational wealth transfer, philanthropy, advanced asset allocation, and planning for the sale of a business. A frequent lecturer to groups of tax and legal professionals, he has given educational seminars throughout the western United States. Chris earned a BA with high honors in business/economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.

Jason Nossiter

Vice President, Financial Advisor at Bernstein

Jason Nossiter is a Vice President and Financial Advisor in the San Francisco office of Bernstein Private Wealth Management. In his practice, Jason works closely with prominent global families and their advisors with interests in Asia, Europe, and the US. Jason partners with entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and leading investment professionals in public and private markets to help them achieve their unique and complex investment and wealth planning objectives. Prior to joining Bernstein in 2008, Jason was an investment banking analyst with Bancroft Partners. He graduated magna cum laude with a BA in political science from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an International Diploma from Sciences Po, Paris.
