The Power of Food for Healthy Weight Management - 5 Class Series

This curriculum is based on the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine’s successful 21- Day Vegan Kickstart program. Depending on one’s perspective, the Kickstart is about losing weight, maintaining a healthy weight, or simply embracing an overall healthful diet. diabetes control, and lower blood pressure, as well as improvements in energy and mood.
Food for Life: Kickstart Your Health will allow class attendees to discover the world of health through general topics ranging from digestion to blood pressure. Results are likely to be immediate and impressive!
Fee for 5 class series is $95 - each class includes cooking demonstration, food sampling, DVD viewing, recipe binder, resource guide and discussion.
Classes are on April 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th and May 5th from 2 - 4 pm and will be held in a classroom above Dean's.
