Event description

Description

Food Day is a national initiative designed to raise awareness of food system issues and bring together organizations in the Good Food movement across the country. We will be joining over 5,000 Food Day events nationwide.

Our theme this year is Building the Good Food Economy - We Mean Business! A Good Food Economy is one that provides healthy food, jobs, and economic opportunities inclusive of historically impacted communities.

At Food Day, we'll highlight this year's Good Food Champions and
host the first ever Good Food Marketplace, a vibrant outdoor market at City Hall featuring delicious food from local vendors and innovative demonstration projects from leaders in Los Angeles’ emerging Good Food Economy.
