Learn the legalities involved with setting up and running your food- or beverage-based company, including legal tips on managing this type of business.


JACQUELINE TATE-NAGHI

Associate Attorney Jackie is an associate attorney specializing in all aspects of business law. She brings with her experience in managing artists and their intellectual property, as well as representing clients in varied employment, family and business matters.

She is compassionate and enjoys working directly with owners, entrepreneurs, and employees to help their small businesses and ideas succeed and grow. Jackie received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan in 2004, and Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School in 2010. While there, she served as notes and comments editor of the Journal of Corporate, Financial and Commercial Law and earned a certificate in Intellectual Property, Information and Media Law. Prior to entering private practice, she served a one-year term as law clerk to the Honorable Mary F. Thurber, J.S.C.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
In the event that a class sells out, preference is given to those who registered in advance. We will only check tickets for high-profile events.

How do I get to the San Francisco SBA Entrepreneur Center?
The San Francisco SBA Entrepreneur Center is located on 455 Market Street in Suite 600 on the 6th floor. The front desk can provide directions to our floor or the elevators. There are no special requirements to enter the building. The closest public parking garages are located on Fremont or Mission Streets. The parking vendor in this building is ABM Parking. This vendor closes at 8PM. The nearest BART stop is the Montgomery Street Station. For detailed travel planning please visit 511.org
