About this event
The Food Bank Players are excited to start their 2nd Season of theater supporting the Alameda Food Bank with A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Of the many stories out there perhaps none is more appropriate for us and now than that of Ebeneezer Scrooge who, through the visits of Jacob Marley and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future, came to recognize his responsibility to his community. We are eager to share this beautiful play, celebrate the season, and remind all of us that we can see one another and help one another, and ought to do both.
As is our custom, the performances are free but we encourage donations to the Food Bank through Eventbrite or in person at each show.
