Join us on March 17th, 2018 for the 2018 Food Allergy Mini-Conference.

Food Allergy Latest Research, Current Therapies, and Best Practices - presented by Northwestern University researcher, Dr. Ruchi Gupta (see bio below) via teleconference. Topics will include current therapies, such as the Peanut Patch and Oral Immunotherapy (OIT). Dr. Gupta is a pediatrician, researcher and holds Masters of Public Health from Harvard University. We are honored to host her as a speaker.

Everything You Wanted to Know about School 504 Plans - presented by school health consultant, Dana Balchunas, former Washoe County School District Director of Student Health Services. Topics include what is a 504 plan, why is it important and how to establish a plan for your child with life-threatening food allergies.

This is event is free thanks to the generosity of Food Allergy Research and Education (FARE), who works to advocate for food allergy education and support in communities nationwide.

NO CHILDREN ALLOWED IN THE SESSIONS DUE TO THE SENSITIVE NATURE OF THE TOPICS

There is limited space in our Children's Track for age 3 and up, space available on a first come first serve basis. We hope to open up more spots as volunteers to the Children's track are confirmed.

THIS IS A FOOD FREE EVENT due to those attending with food allergies. Beverages will be provided.
