Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Description

We invite you to join Children's National Health System and Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE) for an evening of food allergy education and conversation. Join food allergy patients and families from across the DC area to learn about local food allergy resources and how to increase awareness within the community. To start the evening, there will be a brief cocktail reception followed by a viewing of the video series, "Food for Thought." In these videos, guests will hear from patients, parents and educators about their own experiences with food allergies and how to navigate the different environments affecting allergies. Guests will then have the opportunity to take part in a question and answer session, featuring Dr. Hemant Sharma, Chief of the Division of Allergy and Immunology at Children's National Health System, and Dr. James R. Baker, CEO and Chief Medical Officer at FARE.

Complimentary parking is available in the National Geographic garage located on the left side of M street just past the 16th Street intersection.

For questions about the event, please contact Meredith Gentzel at mgentzel@childrensnational.org or (410) 693-5725. We look forward to seeing you!

Please confirm your attendance by Friday, November 17th.
