Fondue. A performance as a dinner party.
Fondue is an intimate performance that takes place within the Fish Factory Gallery Space as part of a larger exhibition entitled Walking Home (Again). Each performance is a journey into place, belonging, grief and pilgrimage.
It is a conversation, and a performance, and an installation that you are welcomed into, and welcome to contribute to. It is a performance installation that has come into being in the wake of an 800km long journey from London to Switzerland in 2009. It is a dinner party with 1kg melted cheese, a record player, a trench coat, snake skin brogues, a crystal glass, and Picon. It is about the distance between here and there, and the distance between me and you.
Fondue forms part of Bram's ongoing PhD research study at Falmouth University.
