Event description

Duration: half day tour

A half day tour invites you to discover Pericles steps and the classical monuments of Athens. Starting point the Acropolis site: The greatest and finest sanctuary of ancient Athens, dedicated primarily to its patron, the goddess Athena, dominates the center of the modern city from the rocky crag known as the Acropolis. The Acropolis of the fifth century BC is the most accurate reflection of the splendor, power and wealth of Athens at its greatest peak, the golden age of Pericles. The cultural stroll lead us to the, Filopappos Hill, also called the Hill of the Muses – and to the Hill of the Pnyx which was the official meeting place of the Athenian democratic assembly (ecclesia).
