Follow Your Passion™: Find Your Path
"Follow your passion.” Sounds easy, right? Isn’t that something that you’ve heard from the time you were a little person? Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life, goes the old cliché.
Over the years of listening to people we have found this adage much harder to fulfill than it sounds. In today’s world most people are stumped when asked the seemingly simple question, “what’s your passion?’”
Passion, you see, is not a practical word. Instead we hear statements like, “I can’t possibly make a living doing what I am passionate about!
This couldn't be more wrong. There is nothing that you can be passionate about that you cannot make a living doing.
Yet before you get to your Passion—your C, you have to know your Starting Point--your A. Your A includes those 3 – 5 things that you do best. Once you have clarity to say, “This is what I do best!” (You’re A) it creates an opening for the process—what we call your B path--of getting from Best to Passion more smoothly.
A career transition is one of six major stressors that can zap us of our passion. Yet, it doesn't need to be this way. You can follow your passion.
Join Brian Fippinger for a 4 part series that begins with a stand alone, 2.5 hour overview of the Follow Your Passion™ workshop. You'll discover your Starting Point--what you do Best (your A), explore how to find and Define Your Passion (your C), and begin the Design of Your Path to get from one to the other (your B).
Along the way we promise you will:
Learn what it takes to create a resume that highlights what you do best
Understand better what type of roles are your 'best fit'
Explore and identify your true passion
Begin to see the path from here to there
Engage in planning your transition, instead of “clicking and praying."
Stay for the addtional three sessions and Brian will guide you into a deeper dive of discovery and expansion onto your path.

The Q4 Philosophy
Three tenets sit as integral to our philosophy: mindful attention; somatic, embodied learning; and leadership cultivation.
Mindful attention is the powerful capacity to be awake, aware and actively attentive to yourself, people and situations in the moment-it gets to the heart of the matter.
Somatic, embodied learning involves cultivating a particular way of being that produces trust, commitment and skillful action.
Leadership cultivation focuses on developing ‘the leader within’ ourselves while partnering with other leaders to secure and cultivate strong teams that have the power to transform potential into embodied, outstanding performance.
Rooted solidly in the sciences, mindful attention, somatic, embodied learning and leadership cultivation together have proven to significantly reduce stress and increase resiliency, stimulate effective, meaningful communication, bring keen focus to decisions all resulting in skillful action toward what matters most.
Q4′s Core Values

We’re driven by the vision of a generative future for all rather than simply driven by the bottom line.
We’re focused on leadership qualities & capacities vs. leadership knowledge for its own sake.
We believe that the ability to influence and shape the future requires the leader’s cultivation of the self.
We believe that everyone can develop his or her leadership capacity.
We hold that the most effective learning is experientially-based and integrates mind, body, spirit where you work and live.
We seek to learn from and integrate the solid, cutting edge research from the neurosciences with the mindful attention of the wisdom traditions into all our program offers.
We seek to develop the underlying somatic intelligence that informs the development of emotional intelligence required by leaders to effectively lead into a new future.
