'Shift & Change', Christine Kydd’s latest critically acclaimed release, was described as ‘a collection that showcases one of Scottish Folk Music’s timeless treasures’

She’s a Multi-award winning singer, twice nominated for MG Alba Scots Singer of the Year. Na Trads in 2018 saw Christine enter the Scottish Traditional Music Hall of Fame.

As respected and loved by fellow musicians as she is by her audiences, Christine’s songs range from traditional Scots ballads to her own new writing, but all are coherently connected by the warmth and humanity of her gorgeous singing, her sense of fun and her love of song.

Current projects include solo, working on projects with a number of acclaimed musicians in various line-ups, including a project on Lucy Stewart with Tripple; concerts with Alan Reid from Battlefield Band; award- winning academic, singer and fiddler Jo Miller, and an upcoming album of new songs produced by Boo Hewerdine.
