Are there ID requirements or is there an age limit to enter the event?
A picture ID that matches the online registration will be required at check-in. Persons under 17 must have a responsible parent or guardian accompanying them at all times.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
- No dogs! Sorry, we are not able to allow dogs at any part of our event. There are boarding facilities available in the town of Joshua Tree.
- No firearms
- No drugs, outside food or beverages or excessive alcohol use.
- Smoking is not allowed in the food service or presentation areas

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Only with written approval by the Friends of Joshua Tree at least one week before the start of the event, after submission of the substitute participants contact information"
What is the refund policy?
Climb Smart is a charity event, and we make commitments to vendors as soon as registrations come in. Therefore, there can be NO refunds for any reason other than cancellation of the event. Thank you for your support and understanding.

Friends of Joshua Tree
Friends of Joshua Tree is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the historical tradition of climbing in Joshua Tree National Park. Friends of Joshua Tree advocates, communicates, and encourages ethical and environmentally sound climbing practices, and works to shape park policy on climbing and climbing-related issues. Toward that end, Friends of Joshua Tree acts as the liaison between the climbing community and the National Park service.
