Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Description

We at Friends of the Golden Gate (FOGG) want to extend our deepest sympathies for the North Bay communities devastated by the recent wildfires. The destruction still feels incomprehensible at times, and there is a long journey ahead for the rebuilding and revival of these communities.

In order to give you the time and space to process loss and to help loved ones impacted by the fires, the FOGG team will reschedule FOGG Fest for April or May of 2018, and hope that you will be able to attend in spring of next year as we kick off our Trail Mixer season. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Elissa Ziegler at 415-561-3519 or eziegler@parksconservancy.org.

Join FOGG for the 7th Annual FOGG Fest at Baker Beach!

Everyone in the City knows that summer doesn’t start until October! Join FOGG (Friends of the Golden Gate) for some fun in the sun, San Francisco-style, as you give back--and then kick back--at beautiful Baker Beach!

Start your morning with Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy staff leading a vital and satisfying volunteer activity in stewardship of your parklands.

Then reward all your hard work at FOGG Fest. Relax with an afternoon of beer from Fort Point Beer Co., lunch from Whole Foods and Fork in the Road, music from Marky Enriquez aka Proof, and DIY craft projects from REI.

“Namaste” and stretch your muscles with a yoga class from Downward Drinking Dog, and enjoy the silent auction where you can win gear and awesome trips and adventures.

And, along the way, you’ll surely want to snap some selfies for your social followers; picture-perfect Baker Beach is a legendary “like”-magnet, guaranteed to foment FOMO among your friends!
