About this event

The annual DCS Cine Lens event has traditionally been held in front of a standing room only crowd in a theater at Paramount Studio, but was forced to take place online the last couple of years due to Covid.  We are very pleased to announce that we will once again gather in person, this year at Otto Nemenz International's beautiful new new Culver City facility on the evening of October 27.

As has been our tradition, the main “focus” of the event will be to look at the market of available cine lenses from the buyer's point of view. It is a great opportunity to gather pretty much every lens manufacturer in one place at one time to see the latest products and share perspectives between manufacturers and their customers. This year, instead of one big panel, we’ll set up tables for each vendor to show off some of their products to attendees and each in turn will be invited up to make a short recorded presentation which we will record for streaming for those that can't make it in person.  Special guests include Jay Holben co-author of The Cine Lens Manual and Matthew Duclos of Duclos Lenses.  Companies who have previously participated and who we are looking forward to welcoming back include (in alphabetical order):

Angénieux -- ARRI -- Canon -- Cooke -- Fujinon -- Infinity Photo-Optical -- Leitz -- Lindsey Optics -- Sigma -- Tokina -- Zeiss

Where:  Otto Nemenz International, 5700 Buckingham Parkway, Culver City, CA  90230
