About:

Did you know that there are at least 8,000 homeless adolescents in the Fort Worth and Dallas Independent School District? Without a roof over their head or food in their bellies these teens are still choosing to show up for school to receive an education. However, research shows that children and teens without healthy meals struggle with lower test scores and increased behavioral problems that affect graduation rates.

It is imperative to reach out to young people in the critical early stages of homelessnes. Our nutricious and delicious meals aim to provide hope for these young people.

This March, Feeding Children Everywhere and the City of Dallas and Fort Worth are joining forces to gather the community to package 20,000 healthy Italian Veggie Pasta meals for homeless adolescents in the Fort Worth Independent School District. We believe one person can make a difference and we can’t do it without you. There will be great music, good fun, and a volunteer experience like no other!
