Breakfast Connection – The Fabulous Fox Theatre (Backstage and Ceiling Restoration Tour)

After 84 years, the Fabulous Fox Theatre will undergo a million dollar renovation to restore the ceiling to its 1929 splendor. Join us on Wednesday, August 7 for a guided walking tour of what has been billed as “St. Louis’ largest and most magnificent temple of amusement.” In addition to getting a first look at the ceiling restoration before its 31st Broadway season, the tour will include a backstage tour as well as stops to Peacock Alley and the Fox Theatre’s newest attraction, A Tribute to Stan Kann. Continental Breakfast will be provided.


When:  Wednesday, August 7, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

As natural resources continue to diminish, plant science research and innovation is proving to be a viable solution to the food and energy needs of a growing world population. Join us on Friday, September 13 as Sam Fiorello, Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President for Administration and Finance at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center shares how the center is improving the human condition through plant science by feeding the hungry, improving human health, preserving and renewing our environment while enhancing the St. Louis region as a world center for plant science. Continental Breakfast will be provided.

It has been 20 years since the start of the Bosnian War, one of the most horrific conflicts on European soil since World War II. Join us on Thursday, October 24 as Anna Crosslin of the International Institute St. Louis, Betsy Cohen of the World Trade Center Saint Louis, Doug Moore of the St. Louis Post-DispatchDr. Ben Moore of the Bosnia Memory Project at Fontbonne University, other advocates, as well as a Bosnian refugee share why more than 70,000 refugees call St. Louis home. Bosnian-inspired refreshments will be provided.
