A transformational leadership journey - Leadership development for professionals

FNX Company has designed a leadership development program based on the most recent insights and learnings as taught by top tier international business schools. We offer this two-day program towards effective leadership through open- enrolment, creating a diverse learning group.

The two-day program starts with understanding ourselves in the context of leadership styles. Leadership is often complicated because we don’t know what others think, feel or intend. As Anaïs Nin said it “We don’t see things as they are, we see them as we are.” We interpret their behavior based on our personal perspective. Acknowledging these differences in others and understanding them in ourselves is an essential tool for effective leadership and people management.

We begin the journey by shedding light on the core behaviour of each participant which plays a part in constructing your personal perspective and consequently, your leadership style. We aim for lasting knowledge through experiential learning. Using proven techniques and exercises we examine subconscious challenges existent in ourselves and the professional positions we take on.

The second day we reflect on behaviour and take a cognitive approach. Recognising behaviour and working on the obstacles to changing it. We intergrate emotional intelligence to further develop leadership and communication skills. This program offers fundamentals for a transformational leadership journey.

  • Understand key essentials of listening, silence and vulnerability in the leadership role.
  • Experience the importance of reflection.

Nita Wink works with young professionals and executive boards as coach and leadership guide. She doe so in a loving confrontational way, embracing discomfort as way to gain new insights and unlearn limiting patterns. She is a certified financial auditor since 1999 and has worked around the world. Nita holds an MBA from RSM and completed an Insead Executive Master in Consulting and Coaching for Change. The years of international travel, and working with different nationalities in an international environment, give her a rich cultural awareness.

Femke Kruiderink works for the Behavioural Expertise Centre of the Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM). Femke attended universities in Japan, Colombia and the Netherlands and completed an Executive Master Consulting and Coaching for Change at Insead international business school in France. Her sharp analyses of group dynamics and leadership issues stems from a youth spent in Mexico, the United States, Honduras, Japan and the Netherlands where the need for adaptability and cultural awareness was imperative and consequently applied and expanded to professional projects from Siberia to former Yugoslavia.
