Event description

Description

A key part of the mediator’s role is to unlock the doors to any withheld information. His or her best tool for this is a great question. It can defuse emotions, clarify facts, and inspire participants to move to a new place. The shift, when it happens, is palpable. Practice creating and using questions during mock mediations.

CHECK-IN BEGINS AT 0815 - This training is open to Federal Employees only and is ideal for Managers/Supervisors, Union Leaders and Members, and Mediator/Facilitators. Collaborative methods of problem solving allow us to tap the rich reserves of knowledge and experience of all members of a group or team (and even our family members). However, it can be rough going! Learn the nuts and bolts as well as tools, tips for success, and traps to avoid in order to collaboratively solve those pesky conflicts we all have every day.
