Event description

Description

This course is particularly for leaders (labor and management). Participants will learn about engagement, why it makes sense, what the risks are, and when to use it. They will practice tools for discovering the strengths and weakness of their departments or organizations and hot to collectively create robust action plans that employees will actually support and help implement.

CHECK-IN BEGINS AT 0815 - This training is open to Federal Employees only and is ideal for Managers/Supervisors, Union Leaders and Members, and Mediator/Facilitators. Collaborative methods of problem solving allow us to tap the rich reserves of knowledge and experience of all members of a group or team (and even our family members). However, it can be rough going! Learn the nuts and bolts as well as tools, tips for success, and traps to avoid in order to collaboratively solve those pesky conflicts we all have every day.
