Event Details

Join us for an intimate evening of yoga led by Diana Paschal, followed with wine and nourishing, healthy bites by Chef Daphne Cheng. You'll be guided through a vinyasa sequence, pranayama and meditation, followed by an elegant vegan dinner and a word from Nicole Cardoza, founder of Yoga Foster.

All proceeds to benefit Yoga Foster, a nonprofit that brings yoga training, curriculum and resources to school teachers to give students a chance to move, stretch and grow during the school day. What they do is #morethanyoga, it's a way for kids to take a break despite all the stresses of the school day. Yoga Foster needs to raise an additional $20,000 to support 40 more classrooms by the end of this fall.

We invite you and our community to come together to raise enough to fund two of these classrooms.

RSVP as space is limitied. Please bring your own yoga mat.

Diana Paschal, Daphne Cheng & Jacky Bereznyak

Diana Paschal is a New York City based yoga instructor, wellness consultant and coach. She has been living in New York City since 2006 and holds a 300 HR YogaAlliance certification. She is currently teaching private, group and corporate classes, offering an anatomically-based, safe and sustainable practice that emphasizing core-strength, proper alignment and intelligence sequencing. She is grateful for her studies with many influential yoga teachers from various lineages within Vinyasa, Iyengar, Ashtanga and Katonah. For more information, visit

Chef Daphne Cheng is a pioneer in haute vegetable cuisine. With her hyper-sensitive palate and creative vision, she focuses the culinary spotlight on fresh, seasonal vegetables. She most enjoys mixing ingredients and flavors in unusual ways, defying her father’s repeated admonishments, “Don’t play with your food.” The resulting dishes can be all at once elegant, provoking, and even bizarre, but most importantly delicious.

Jacky Bereznyak builds community one partnership at a time at Wanderlust, a company whose central purpose is to create community around mindful living. After leaving the education and non-profit realms, Jacky continues to pursue her passion to cultivate the next generation of mindful leaders through her involvement with various initiatives and organizations. Yoga Foster specifically excites Jacky because the organization empowers teachers by providing them with the tools they need to incorporate yoga and wellness curriculum into their own classrooms: a model that is built to last.
