About this Event
Health and wellness is a vital aspect of our lives, now more than ever. As restrictions change, allowing for socially-distanced workouts, our focus is on getting studios and trainers back in action while keeping YOU healthy and strong. STRENGTH IN THE CITY is teaming up with Zen Yoga Garage to bring you two donation based community fitness classes and a brunch designed to encourage health and connection while maintaining social distancing guidelines.
Saturday March 20th
9am - 9:45 am led by Melissa Talleda
10am - 10:45 am led by Melissa Talleda
Don't forget your mat and water bottle!
Participants who take the class are also welcomed to stay and Brunch at Recess after. We will be hosting a “Release” brunch session where our yoga leaders, STRENGTH IN THE CITY team members and partners will lead a RAW, VENTING session where we can speak freely about our lives during the pandemic, share our stories, get to know the people in the community and remind one another we can get through anything as a community!
If you are attending classes and would like to join our brunch too, please RSVP to Liezyl at Liezyl@MTWOPS.com. Please please write BRUNCH RESERVATION in the subject line and your full name in the body as well as the total number of the people in your party. For anyone that joins the brunch after taking a class there will be a complimentary adult beverage and 10% off your brunch tab (1 discount per table).
Per current guidelines, the class will have a very limited capacity and participants will be spaced 6 feet apart; a brief wellness exam will be conducted upon arrival for the safety of our staff and attendees. Instructors will wear face coverings throughout class and participants must wear masks until they get to their mats. Hand sanitizer will be readily available.
If you are interested in sponsoring one of our “INNER STRENGTH" or any or our upcoming events please contact liezyl@mtwops.com.
