Event description

You are invited to flow with us on Saturday, 3/23/19, from 1-7pm for our 3rd nourishing and uplifting half-day immersion retreat of Reiki and elemental healing: FLOW: A Spring Rebirth Healing Retreat for Women of Color.

Who is this Retreat space for?

This retreat is specifically designed for women of color. It is an inclusive and expansive space -- all bodies, experiences and ages are welcome. FLOW is a fat-positive, trans + non-binary affirming space.

This is an invitation to show up in what is, in who you are, in how your body moves through the world.

What is FLOW?

FLOW is an organic and vibrant healing space that weaves together individual and shared practice. It is first and foremost, a space for personal reflection where self + community care are in practice. We will learn to flow together through:

  • Personalized Reiki and Energy Healing Sessions

  • Individual channeled messages from the Universe

  • Ritual candle making

  • Art + creativity practice

  • Water + Fire meditations

  • Collective ceremony + storytelling

  • Delicious homemade organic + vegan food

  • Salt water healing

  • And more!

We will be gathering in the comfort of a private home near Culver City / West LA that offers both luxury and spaciousness for your healing retreat. There will be opportunities to connect with others as well as settle into personal spaces for reflection and integration.

There are only 16 spots available for this retreat. Be sure to reserve your spot as soon as possible!

Address and additional details provided upon registration.

With love,

Sofia, Susanna + Syd

Who are we?

Sofia Rose Smith:

Sofia is a queer femme of color intuitive guide, facilitator, and spiritual coach. She supports communities in finding home in themselves as artists and visionaries through 1:1 coaching, energy healing, retreats, ceremonies and group programs. She believes in liberation and that living a life we love is a radical act. She lives from a place of political love and will always be a poet at heart. She helps women, people of color and queer folks tap into their power through a connection to creativity, ritual and self-loving practices, and through healing internalized oppression. To commune with her, you can visit her website www.sofiarosesmith.com or reach out via social media.

Susanna Peace Lovell:
Susanna is a multi-racial writer, speaker, life coach and Reiki healer dedicated to the health and wellness of special needs families, women of color and mothers. On her journey of navigating through the worry and heartbreak of raising a daughter with myriad disabilities and challenges, she realized there was nothing wrong with her child and therefore nothing to fix. Susanna believes and knows that we are all born with perfectly intact souls, and that each one of us is whole and complete exactly as we are. She coaches her clients to express themselves from places of brokenness and pain and lead them to the light of their own authenticity and truth. She believes that "a candle loses nothing by lighting another" and is passionate about raising her own vibration side by side with her sister tribe. Get to know more at www.susannapeacelovell.com.

Stephanie Syd Yang: Syd is a mixed race/Taiwanese American queer healer, intuitive artist and writer who weaves together magic, possibility and intention as an energy healer in the world through their practice, Blue Jaguar Healing Arts. As someone who lives with depression and anxiety, and has recovered from severe eating disorders, their work finds its resonance in the stories we each hold at the intersection of memory, body, sexuality and mental health. Syd works with individuals as well as regularly leads workshops, community healing circles and has been a group facilitator for over two decades, with a specific focus on grief, healing ancestral trauma, sexuality + spirituality, body liberation and eating disorder recovery for people of color.
