Join Eden Valley Artistic Network (EVAN) online and spend a relaxed hour with Maggi Toner-Edgar (Fashion Designer/Maker/Stylist) learning how to recreate and regenerate textiles through the Japanese method of patchwork layering and shashiko hand- stitching.

- A large scrap of cotton backcloth approx A4-A3 in size
- A reel of thickish white/cream cotton thread - OR embroidery threads any colour and a large eyed needle with a sharp point. Embroidery needles are good, any will do for now.

EVAN was established to encourage everyone from grassroots artists to professionals to follow their creative dream. This workshop is part of Flourish: EVAN's creative development programme.
