Description

Save the Date for the Florida School Security Summit!

Join us for a series of short presentations by local school security practitioners and nationally recognized public safety leaders to discuss interoperable communications between schools and law enforcement. A panel discussion will provide plenty of opportunity for discovery and questions.

The focus will be on success stories, lessons learned, and ways to overcome the evolving communication challenges in K-12 and higher education school security.

The event is free and open to school security professionals, administrators, teachers and parents, as well as law enforcement and legislators. Registration is required

Confirmed Speakers and Panelists:

  • Ron Brooks (Moderator) Former Director, Northern California Regional Intelligence Center
  • Chief David Perry, Florida State University Police Department
  • Panel Discussion: Dir. Mike Favorit, Lt. Doug Goerke, Dep. Chief Daniel Schad, Chief Pete Gauntlett, Dir. Maxine Oliver
  • Capt. Rick Francis, Director School Safety & Security, Seminole County Sheriff's Office
  • Leonard J. Dietzen, III, General Counsel, Florida Police Chiefs' Association & Suwannee County School Board Attorney, Rumberger Kirk & Caldwell

We look forward to seeing you in May!
